This is Hine's most powerful cognac. The depth and complexity of Cigar Reserve is the perfect accompaniment to a fine hand-made cigar. On the nose : tobacco leaf, crystallised fruit, honey and a slight hint of wood. Well-balanced, liquorice, soft spices, very round and long on the palate.

Blend of more than 25 cognacs, coming from the following 4 growths of the Cognac region : Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois. All over 15 years old. Hine Cigar Reserve is a premium priced product. Cigar Reserve is classified in the XO category as all the cognacs used to make this blend are all over 15 years old.

Cognac

Cognac, named after the town of Cognac in France, is the most famous variety of brandy, produced in the wine-growing region surrounding the town from which it takes its name, in the French Departements of Charente and Charente-Maritime. According to French Law, in order to bear the name, Cognac must meet strenuous legal requirements, ensuring that the 300-year old production process remains unchanged.
