Nicolas Feuillatte Grand Cru Verzenay 1997 0.75l

Sold out - call us on availability

The village of Verzenay boasts the second largest vineyards in Champagne. It is the most northerly of the Grand crus on the Montagne de Reims. The hillside resembles a Roman amphitheatre, which protects the vines from the northerly winds and offers them maximum exposure to the sun. Pale golden in colour with hints of copper, the nose shows entrancing notes of bright red fruits and exotic spices. The palate is voluptuous and full yet retaining freshness and elegance. It’s power would match rich, lavish foods such as game, truffles, or roast duck
