Verzenay: 100% Pinot Noir.

The village of Verzenay boasts the second largest vineyards in Champagne. It is the most northerly of the Grand crus on the Montagne de Reims. The hillside resembles a Roman amphitheatre, which protects the vines from the northerly winds and offers them maximum exposure to the sun. Pale golden in colour with hints of copper, the nose shows entrancing notes of bright red fruits and exotic spices. The palate is voluptuous and full yet retaining freshness and elegance. It’s power would match rich, lavish foods such as game, truffles, or roast duck. 

Cuvée 225: 50% Pinot Noir 50% Chardonnay

Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, founded in 1976, released this unusual champagne as an auspicious wine to toast the start of the 21st Century. It is fermented in 225 liter barrels, hence the name Cuvée 225. The creation of wine maker Jean Pierre Vincent, it is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay grapes.
