Jameson 0.7l in tin box

Product on stock

Jameson Whiskey is produced from a mixture of malted and unmalted Irish barley. To the nose, Jameson is clearly a mellow pot still whiskey with toasted wood and sherry undertones. Jameson's taste is distinctively smooth and sweet with mild woody and nutty notes. Incredibly smooth is the only way to describe the finish.

Jameson Irish Whiskey

Jameson Whiskey

John Jameson founded his whiskey distillery in Dublin in the year 1780. The cork distillers Company joined forces with their rivals John Jameson and John Powers to form the Irish Distillers Group in 1966. The Midleton distillery built by the Irish Distillers is producing now most of the Irish Whiskey sold in Ireland.

Jameson Whiskey is produced from a mixture of malted and unmalted Irish barley. Malted barley is barley that has been allowed to germinate by steeping it in water. The barley is then dried in a closed kiln to preserve its clean malty flavors. In Ireland, one of the secrets of making whiskey lies in the slow, triple distillation in copper pot stills. This method of distilling gives the whiskey its remarkable smoothness and round flavour. Other whiskeys are distilled only once or twice.
