The recipe for Gordon's gin is known to only 12 people in the world. It includes juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root and other botanicals that remain the secret. HISTORY: In 1769, Alexander Gordon moved to London and later he opened his distillery in Clenkerwell, chosen for the purity of its water. Here, he developed Gordon's gin. It was a gin of the highest quality, using the purest ingredients, and without of any sugar commonly added to inferior gin to mask rough and unbalanced spirit.
