Glenfiddich 15y Solera, immensely popular Glenfiddich variant, has a full and fruity nose, with delicate honey and vanilla notes. The taste is elegantly smooth, with a deep flavour that reveals fruit, gentle spice and a touch of oak. The finish is long and satisfying. Using a Solera system common in the maturation of quality sherry, malt from three different types of casks is married together in a wooden vat, which is constantly topped up to ensure the quality is maintained.

Glenfiddich is matured in oak casks such as sherry butts from Spain or Bourbon whiskey barrels from America. What first hits you about the fresh and fragrant Glenfiddich Special Reserve is the touch of pear in the nose, followed by a distinctive, well-balanced flavour of rich fruit, subtle pine and a hint of peatiness. Expect a satisfyingly long, lingering and rounded aftertaste.
A family-owned company, William Grant founded the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, in the valley of the River Fiddich in 1886 and it is owned by the same family today. Glenfiddich whisky first ran from the stills on Christmas Day, 1887. In 1969 the distillery was the first in Scotland to open a visitor's centre. Glenfiddich is currently sold in 180 countries and is the best selling single malt Scotch whisky in the world, accounting for 20% of single malt whisky sales.
