Gancia Barbera d'Asti DOC 0.75l
Intense ruby red with garnet highlights, its bouquet is rich and complex, with a noteworthy concentration and range. This is particularly evident in the hints of red berries and small fruit. With a background of vanilla and liquorice spices, the taste is dry, generous, full-bodied and of significant structure - a perfect amalgamation of the characteristics of the vine, making a mixture of great softness and grand class.

Linked to the ancient farming traditions of Piedmont, the Barbera d’Asti evolved to satisfy a wide range of demands and tastes. Thanks to the constant hard work of those who produce it, it is now rightfully considered to be one of the most important red wines both at national and international levels. The Barbera grape variety is the most widely cultivated variety in Piedmont and flourishes with good exposure and cultural care. Rustic and adaptable, reaching a constant good level of production, the grapes ripen quite late (early October). In the provinces of Asti and Alessandria , where it is presumably originates from, this variety benefits highly from a perfect soil and microclimate to maintain and in some cases to favour and flourish from the best possible exposure of the hills.
