One of the world's great liqueurs. Its name comes from the Gaelic an dram buidbeach, 'the drink that satisfies'. Legend has it that the recipe was given to the Mackinnon family by Bonnie Prince Charlie, for saving his life after the collapse of the Scottish clans' rebellion of 1745.
