Chateauneuf du Pape region is known for its large rounded pebbles (galets roulés) in the vineyards of the area. The stones cover the clay and chalk soils and naturally keep vine yields low.

Vinification: The specially selected grapes undergo a traditional long 'cuvaison' at high temperature and with extended maceration on the skins, all to extract plenty of colour, fruit and tannins.

Tasting Notes: A complex wine that has warm red spicy fruit and damson aromas, dense dark cherry fruit on the palate; structure, richness and a touch of elegance at the finish.

Food Recommendations: Perfect with traditional lamb or rich hot-pot dishes.
