This is a pleasant blend of old vine Grenache and Syrah, made in a fruit forward modern way. Perfect.
|
This luscious red is made from selected parcels of old vine Grenache and Syrah (Aka Schiraz), two grape varieties usually found in Chat-en-Oeuf's more esteemed (and more expensive) cousins from the Rhone.
A trully mouth-filling red packed with rich, juicy and ripe berry fruit flavours, a touch of soft tannin and a subtle twist of spice.
Chat-en-Oeuf is a wine of real quality and character and an all rounder when it comes to food matching. Try it with a platter of meats or cheeses or simply lap it up all on its lonesome.
If only nine lives extended to you and I, we to could enjoy a glass or three over and over again.
The name is easily recognisable in order that the consumer is drawn to it and remembers it for repeat purchase. A fun approach to a serious category, Chat-en-Oeuf offers seriously good wine from the Rhône. Contemporary, clean and simple, it offers a ‘Boutique’ feel and is predominantly designed to appeal to the female shopper, pet owners and ‘In the know’ consumers.
Viticulture: This luscious Côtes du Ventoux is made from selected parcels of old vine Grenache and Syrah.
Vinification: A proportion of the wine has been barrel-aged for 12 months in French oak, adding structure to the blend.
