Made by a private company that was established in 1938, Casco Viejo is distilled and bottled by Tequila Supremo company on the Camarena family estate. The family owns over 1,000 hectares of plantations in Los Altos (The highlands) of Jalisco with more than 3 million Agave plants. Casco Viejo Joven is a young golden tequila which contains at least 50% Agave. It has a smooth, light palate, with a flavour of clean agave notes initially followed by sweet tones of vanilla. What is Tequila?
Tequila is a Mexican destilate distilled from fermented juices obtained from the hearts of blue agave plants grown in the Tequila Region. The liquor gets its name from the town of Tequila located in the state of Jalisco where production started more than 200 years ago.
