Carlos I. Solera Gran Reserva Brandy de Jerez 0.7l
Copper amber color. Rich, oily roasted nut, olive, and dark chocolate aromas. A smooth entry leads to a dryish medium-bodied palate with dark chocolate frosted vanilla cake, oaked nut, olive juice, dried pineapple, and robust brown spices. Finishes with an even spice and chocolate fade. Very drinkable.

The House of Pedro Domecq was founded in 1730, when an enterprising French aristocrat came to the fertile Jerez region. Descendants of the Domecq family are still running the company today. It began producing and exporting its products in commercial quantities around 1874, and today has holdings all over the world. Carlos I Solera Gran Reserva is the crowning achievement of Domecq. Its sleek, modern bottle bears an elegant gold label. The brandy has an average age of 12 years, from a solera started over a century ago.
