Tasting Note
Light, fresh and full of vitality. Assertive youthful bouquet with honeysuckle, myrtle, green apple, garden mint, dry hay and oak shavings, salt and crushed sea shells. Simple and succulent, sweet flavours of home made tablet, toasted malt and mead, followed by fresh citrus fruits and ozone. The finish is full of action. Wine Match Fresh, crisp, elegant, floral, like Puligny Montrachet. Subtle and refined, yet deceptively compelling. Surprisingly full-textured on the palate. Well balanced, and harmonious. Really grows on you.

About the Bruichladdich distillery

All Distilleries would be Bruichladdich if they could. Since the mothballs were dusted away by the legendary figure of James McEwan in 2001, Bruichladdich has become a beacon for everything that is good and great in the world of whisky. Traditional, nay ancient equipment ; hand-crafted production ; the absence of chill filtration ; no caramel to adjust colour ; maturing in warehouses overlooking the shores of Loch Indaal ; bottling on-site using pure , Islay spring water - these and much more are all part of the magical Bruichladdich formula.
