In the south of Epernay, direction of "la Côte des Blancs". It is the field of the Chardonnay, the most famous white grape of Champagne, where is installed the BONNAIRE house.

Fernand Bouquemont, the maternal grandfather of Jean-Louis Bonnaire made there his first bottle in 1932. It was the beginning of a great adventure which André Bonnaire undertook, the son-in-law of Fernand, to develop the family vineyard which counts today more than 22 hectares.

The history of the Bonnaire house illustrates well the devotedness, from generation to generation, to this particular spirit of a "Côte des Blancs" winegrower.

And Jean-Louis Bonnaire wants to do more. Not only he gives to his house champagnes that respect the tradition, but also champagnes that fit up contemporary life.
