Vintage or Millesime Cognac
Tha difference between Vintage (Millesime) Cognac and traditional cognac V.S., V.S.O.P. or X.O. signatures is that every bottle of Millesime contains only Cognac made of grapes from that particular vintage / year. The vintage eau-de-vie is used even for compensation of natural losses which occurs while ageing in oak barrels - the so-called 'angel's share'. Only thus is ensured that every cognac bottle will be 100% vintage. These luxury and highly regarded Cognacs are appreciated for ther uniqueness - every vintage has a specific character.
